The book is well-written and provides interesting and detailed information about the history of—and various ways of cooking—eggs. However, these virtues are diminished by the unformatted tables in the Kindle version and by the incomplete Table of Contents in the Kindle sidebar. The main chapter headings are linked, but there are no links to the many sub-topics in either the Table of Contents or the Index. In addition, links are not included in the TOC text, itself.I do hope an updated kindle version with a linked TOC and updated tables will be posted soon.
It's good content, but whoever was in charge of the kindle version clearly just didn't care. Many things don't display right, to the point of being confusing. Go for the paperback. ( Admittedly, i'm just -assuming- it doesn't have the same issues...)
