Christa Mackinnon is a psychologist, family counselor, and clinical hypnotherapist whose life was transformed by her discovery of shamanism. Michael Harner’s, Cave and Cosmos: Shamanic Encounters with Another Reality, emphasises journeying and provides ample cases to enlighten the modern practitioner. Serge Kahili King, a shaman in the Hawaiian tradition, offers in his book, Instant Healing, the benefits of a long accumulation of shamanic knowledge about a wide variety of healing techniques for numerous ailments.
