The images are beautiful. No question about that. But the pictures on the Amazon product page are not pictures of the product. The actual product is set up as a 12" x 12" book with each calendar month spanning two pages. So, you have a big ugly spine down the middle of each month's picture (except the centerfold which is the least interesting picture of the bunch.). This means you can have gaps at the center or misalignments of the left and right halves. The pictures on the web site don't even hint at this. The web site should show people what they are actually buying.Somewhat disappointed, but not enough to return it.
The pictures in the calendar are great. However I was disappointed that it's landscape and the pictures are spread across two pages. I was hoping after I'm done with this to take the pictures and frame some of them but now with a split in the middle that's not feasible. Plus it's a little more difficult to hang it this way.
I used to take old calendars and pull them apart to re-use the pictures, but since this is wide across the spine, you can't do that. that's the only real complaint I can think of... other than maybe just remove the small nearly useless calendar from each month altogether! ;-) It's not like we're buying it for the little 4x5 inch block of numbers in the corner, right?
This calendar is always good, this year's was no exception. The title shot of the enterprise from Discovery was an extremely beautiful shot.
I'm just gonna come out and say I friggin' love these calendars. I've been getting these calendars since 2003. Recently, I hunted down the earlier two that I didn't yet have. I may have some least-favorite years, but even those years are pretty good. I love the horizontal layout of the months.My biggest complaint is that they sometimes change where the nail holes are. But here's a hint, if you make yourself some custom frames then you never again have to worry about how to hang them.

The landscape format is obnoxious to hang, but a I do love the Enterprise pictures.
